I've created a Tumblr account out of boredom.
First it was Blogger, then Live Journal and finally Tumblr.
May be next holiday it'll be Wordpress. lol.

I never really thought about how I'm gonna make full use of any of these blogging platforms.

The Great Dane, Ah Dai, is dead!

Just a few weeks ago I was there looking at him and now he's dead.
How unpredictable and fragile life is.
He must have been such a love.
There were 20 people over at his funeral.

"I was hugging his head when he looked at me, then with his last breath, he looked around our shop, then his head dropped and he died."

See, this is him and my friend.

Well, enough of that sad story.
As much as I dread it, school's resuming....
A new term, with new modules, new environment and a bunch of new friends/group mates.
Apparently not everyone's that lucky to be in the same class as your friends.
But I'm glad at least I've found a few people here and there to form a group with.
Ahhhhhh. Let's get this over and done with quickly yeah.

I can't wait for the holidays!

Anyway, caught My Sister's Keeper during the weekend.
I guess you've to read the book to be really interested in this movie.
Because even I find some parts a little too draggy but overall it's still nice. Really touching.
It's even nicer to watch my boyfriend dozing off and trying to keep himself awake throughout the whole show. Lol.

And remember how everyone was talking about the balloon boy?

How the family thought he was in the balloon when actually he'd been hiding in the attic.

What a big woo-haa.

Imagine involving military helicopters and even having to shut down Denver International Airport!

Yesterday night was at Simpang with my friends and bf's friends for the soccer match - Livepool vs Man Utd
The crowd, especially this lady, was screaming like as though she got raped!
So loud and sharp.
But it's kind of fun watching though it's just 22 people running after a ball.

Anyway, I attended Sentosa Spooktacular last Friday and it was awesome!

The atmosphere was really eerie.
The lights, the sound effects and the constant shock from behind us.
We had to walk in small groups of 6 into the Images-of-Singapore-turned-Haunted-House for a good 30 minutes or so. If I were to take a video of it, all you could see would be lots of movements in the dark accompanied with screams from us.

Great experience I would say and I like it!
If only we're there purely for fun but no, after this there's a project to submit.
Oh well.

The night before, Thursday, bf came to give me a surprise.

Huge surprise.

We actually get to spend the first minute of our 21st together.

It's been sometime since we last spent it together you see.

So it was even better!

After so many days now, I'm still smiling each time I recall it.

WOOTS!

I'm pretty much excited about this A here! My first report of the semester with an A.

Came really unexpected cos while I was doing, I felt like I was crapping my way through just to fill up the pages. Plus, I scored well for my class test as well. =D

I never really set sky high expectations for myself.

I do aim, but I aim realistically.

As compared to my other course mates, my academic grades are average.

Not-proud-to-talk-about kind of grades.

Whether the grades are good or bad, I don't quite show it you see.

Must still be somewhat sensitive to the others around you &

if its bad, what's done is done.
So anyway, let's hope this semester will start off nicely and end off nicely as well.

Oh yes, I'm back to update means something you know.
I've no more project submission for this month!
Done with 2 individual projects for this week, and after the accounting test on Tuesday,
it's a self-declared official short break for me!
The feeling of being free is so nice.
Can't wait for the semester to end.
Half more semester to go!!

Done with Accounting & Finance Paper...

And that's all for mid-sem test!

I love this.

But on the negative side, we have hell lots of project.

To kick off the start of the 3-week holiday, the Regulars went for Sakae Buffet as usual.

The amount we ate was scary. But it was nice. Filled out starved stomachs with lots of rice, seaweed and whatever ingredients there were. Seriously, looking at the limited number of items available for buffet, I've never understood why people like us don't find it boring. Oh well. You pay for whatever you get right.

And I finally got a haircut and I quite like it, though it got a little shorter. Just that little bit baby. Not much. =)

Ever since the 2nd trip to Kimage Academy, I promised myself never to trust a school. It's scary how they may destroy your hair with the basic skills that the students are equipped with. So shall return back to Heatwave or probably other Monsoon Group outlets the next time round. Plus plus, I went for manicure! Have been wanting to cut my long nails and since I'm out, why not just visit a nail parlour right. So yup! Woohoo! Hopefully it'll last till Christmas before I visit one again for CNY! Next time round might just be french nails since I was contemplating damn hard just now.

Okay, this whole week, starting from today will be project chionging week.

Daily dosage of project meetings over at Joyce's before my group mates leave town.

Let's hope this week will be productive!

Plus, I wanna hurry get all my individual projects done as well.

Hate rushing for projects till the wee hours for days and weeks. The panicky moments just hours before submission can seriously cause me panic attacks if I don't learn how to calm down.

So that's my motivation to start my projects early!

Way to gooooooo!

Bought 5 of the titles already and I'm so excited for the next few upcoming ones.
There are 3 more I guess.
That's like a whole lot more than the Twilight Sequel and it's great!

Vampire Diaries Attack!!

Broadcasting every week but it's so annoying and frustrating to wait for it weekly.
Shall start reading the book to satisfy this anxiety burning inside me.
It's so addictive and I wonder why. Lol.
If only Twlight, New Moon, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn is like this too. That will be so nice!

Headed over to pet farm on Thursday with George, Gabriel and Lianghao.
And I was just hoping that one day I would be able to walk out of that place with a dog in my hand. Toy poodle. Aww! That will be so cute!
Oh yes, there were a few big ugly dogs too. Maybe a little fierce as well.
The Great Dane was so hugggeeeee it would be taller than any of us if it stands on 2 legs. (That's how it looks like)

Then the next day we caught Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Food falling for sky. How awesome will that be.
Pretty cool I would say.
It's neither totally fantastic or awful.
So yea.
A movie to kill time with friends maybe?

Oh realise how it's always the few of us that hang out? Where are the rest huh.

I was behind the wheel!
Like finally I've decided to start my lessons after passing my BTT since effing long ago.

Naturally, I was so excited before the lesson. Like how butterflies used to be in my stomach when I had my O lvl years ago.
And I was so scared when he asked me to take over after he had showed me the ways to hit the clutch, change gear, accelerate and brake. Ahhh. Nonetheless, it was fun! U-turn, left/right turn was as scary as I thought it'll be.
So basically I just drove rounds and rounds to get the feel of driving.

You must be thinking I'm learning manual right! Hell no!
I was supposed to be driving auto but my instructor forgot and got me a manual. -.-
So no choice but to take it.
It's so troublesome!!
The constant need to change gear and hit and release the clutch. Still prefer auto.

Will be looking forward to more lessons.
This time round it will definitely be auto!

My appetite has been really huge these days.
On Sunday alone, I ate hell lot of food from 3pm-10pm.
Met up with Kelly, Lianghao & Gabriel for movie and pool. I was watching them play most of the time. I suck at it. Anyway, we had Oyster Mee Sua for lunch, after about an hour I shared Taiwan Crispy Chicken with Gab, after about another hour Popcorn for movie and straight after movie, dinner at Simpang Bedok (Mutabak & Cheese Fries). Sinful day but I just felt like eating.

The movie, Fame, is like High School Musical.
But I like this more than HSM.
The songs are nicer. Not so kiddish you see.

Then Monday.

Was supposed to run with Gordon then have dinner together.

But we skipped running and went for dinner instead. Lol.

Before that I was so hungry I ate a little dinner at home. Like a little rice with meat and vegetables.

We met up and I had a bowl of noodle followed by Grass jelly drink and soya egg tart for dessert.

We went for a walk round the neighbourhood bypassing siglap sec, and to the beach.

Then finally to7-11 for ice-cream before heading home.

I wonder what's living in my stomach. Can't imagine myself eating so much. All of these in 2 hours.

Anyway it was a nice time catching up though. Been a long time since we last met up.

And from him I learned a whole different meaning of what envy means and the difference between jealous and envy.

As compared to envy, jealousy comes across as something better because it involves love.
It's like how you're jealous that your best friend is treating another friend better.
See, here you're jealous because you love your friend.
Whereas envy doesn't involve any love whatsoever.
It's like how you envy someone rich owning all the pretty things in life and yet can't even have one tenth of whatever they have.
This is bad because you'll end up hating yourselves, your life and your surrounding for not being able to get what you desire.
You'll overlook all the little things that people do for you and not be thankful for what you already have.
You'll so badly want to achieve more that sometimes you turn into someone ugly, someone so materialistic.
