It's 23rd! Everything seems to pass so quickly. From the day we started off as complete strangers to now we're complete lovers, it's been 10 months. How fast, how sweet.
Though it isn't very long but at least it's long enough to say I know you inside out, outside in, upside down, downside up!! I look at you from all sort of angles that I can even create a 'The Ultimate Glam & Unglam of Gerald' photo album.

Oh well, shan't say much. Let's keep it as : "Gerald knows, Yvonne knows, Public don't know."
Just feel like flooding this post with lots of pictures.

    Here you go!

It doesn't matter whether we look good or bad in the pictures.

It doesn't matter where the pictures are taken.

It doesn't matter when the pictures are taken.

All that matters is that beside me, it's you.

Every picture has a memory behind it.

And ours, I'm proud to say, are all beautiful & significant memories.

So beautiful that I can't help but smile at it.

So significant that I can't seem to forget.

Because all these brings out the sweet moments we shared.

As well as the crazy moments.

It's the start of school for me and the start of NS for him. How mundane life is but yet all of us are made to go through it. It's as though our lives are worked out like some maths formula. It's so step-by-step and so dead. So the people around you play a big role in making your life a colourful and meaningful one. Don't you think so?

Yes it's Thursday today! I'm so looking forward to meeting Gerald again. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't been talking to him for 6 days now. I'm glad it's gonna be over soon.
Quick quick, hurry come back before I run away.

I'm proud to declare that all Thursdays are free-days for me! Other than having to meet up for an hour or 2 for project, I'm free and have the entire day all to myself. One greatest advantage of being in a poly is definitely the ability to change the school's time-table to suit our own schedule. See, now I have a free Thursday. Isn't that good?

Projects are piling up higher and higher. It's never ending! Plus there're tests which adds on to the already so-full-till-I-can't-breathe schedule. Oh well. All these would have been worst if not for the hyper-active class of mine. Days after days, we never seem to have a lack of jokes. Every single guys in our class is an ultimate joker! Almost everyone finds it hard to control our noise level. From library rangers to lecturers. Oh yes, talking about library rangers, we've an encounter with them AGAIN. It's irritating how they go round asking people to keep their volume down and confiscating flavoured drinks and food, even in the project room! With 4 walls and a closed door, how loud can we be. Well well, it makes me wonder what are project rooms for.

Anyway, we've found Stuart long lost brother.

Special thanks to Grace for contributing the suspenders and Lianghao for his curiousity.

Being curious isn't really good right? You'll get the limelight for the wrong reason.
Special thanks to LiangHao again for sacrificing his body!

Last but not least, we have a strawberry shortcake wannabe.

... run away from home to look for you!

This weekend is so burnt! I've so many things left uncomplete. I've already been spending the whole day completing my work but it doesn't seem to come to an end. A project left untouched as well as a test I've yet to study for. This is so screwed.
On the bright side, at least it keeps me occupied during this weekend while he is stuck in NS.

Oh yes, something interesting to share.
While waiting for bus yesterday afternoon, I saw this guy who appeared to be around our age. A normal plain looking guy who wouldn't catch much of our attention. He's not ugly. He has very good features and complexion. Sharp nose, deep-set eye and a pimple-free complexion. How many guys are bless with such looks? It's seriously a pity how he doesn't know how to dress up. That explains why he doesn't appear to be attractive. Oh well. Come think of it, a person's dressing is rather important. It's the first impression you'll have when you first meet someone. Looking at how everyone always dress up for their first date and all, I would say most already know it. I admit, I'm guilty of it too.

Audrey was so hyper yesterday. All because her web-cam is finally working again. Seeing the way she acted in class makes me wonder how her friends tahan her. It's oh-so-untahanable. Haha. Oh well, but I've been doing quite a great job these years. So back at home, we web-camed again and this is a screen shot of us in our most unglam look.

That's how we've been surviving together for 3 years.

Oh yes, just in case you don't know who Audrey is, she's my all-time best buddy!

I ate my waffle hotdog today!

    I ABHOR FLYING INSECTS!

It's everywhere around me and I simply can't do anything about it.
This detestable flying beetle has been in my room since 2 days ago. Guess it lost its way home or something.

    1st Night - 8th Nov

Was happily chatting on the phone with Gerald when it started flying and making 'tok tok tok' noises. See how irritating it is. Was standing outside my own room like an idiot until I decided to just sleep in the living room. Poor big Yvonne have to resort to sleeping in the living room just because a little insect conquered her room.

    2nd Night - 9th Nov

Was using the internet all the while and just when I thought everything is safe, the flying beetle had to fly out from it's hiding place. So wanted to get my mum to catch it for me but being a considerate daughter, I decided not to disturb her. But that means I have to abandon my room once again! Damn.

    3rd day - Today

Was on the bus when someone tapped me from behind my seat. I don't know her but at least she is kind enough to let me know that there was a BEE on the window beside me. What's with all the flying insects nowadays? Why is it that they are always trapped indoor. May be they should get GPS too. Anyway, that girl behind me killed it and I had my pleasant journey to school.
Know what? That puny insect is still surviving after the 3rd day camping in my room. It flew out of the cardboard and I flew out my room. And now, I have no idea where it is. My dad was looking high and low for it but looks like the insect knows some bit about surviving skills.
I'm gonna camp over at my Sis-in-law's room tonight. I'll stay there until that pest is out of my sight.

    Resolution

I've decided that the pest will meet it's doom tomorrow. I'm gonna spray Baygon and let it suffer! Then I'll have my room back, all by myself. =) BYE BYE BEETLE!

I've so many pictures that I wanna upload here but the pictures are with Elicia and Charyl. Have to wait for the 2 ladies to send me. Ooi, if you're reading, you got my hint??
When I've the pictures then I'll be able to blog about yesterday's class outing! 16 of us at Seoul Garden. Can you imagine how noisy we were and how untidy our tables were? So much so that we didn't even dare take pictures of it. Lol.
The class seems to be going out every Friday. Fridays are like part of our weekend. It's either a short day or not even a day in school. How nice. =)

Oh yes! The class is taking turns to update on the class blog. I can't wait for my turn! It'll be so fun. More videos of Stuart!! If you have no idea who this go check it out on youtube.
Anyway, this was what Gerald showed me today. Another Mad Tv!!

    Presenting to you Miss Swan!!

Laugh and whack the person beside you!

    Thursday, November 6, 2008

Yes, I'm back to blog more!

Everyone(my class) is still in school while I'm back at home blogging! =)
    Thursdays are my short days.

Someone turned 18 today and that's Kelwin Tan.

Kelwin, time to grow up eh.

The class was busy preparing his present today and busy hiding the BIG present from him as well. All I can say is it's really nice and it's a rather creative idea. Who would have thought of giving a mirror with birthday wishes on it?

Oh yes, I coloured the heart with my red marker! It's so nice!

This is just the lower portion of the BIG mirror. Imagine him carrying this to cheerleading and then back all the way to Serangoon, on the bus. Good luck to him man. On top of that we bought a Topman vest for him as well. See, we are all nice kind souls.

Just to show you how dirty-minded this guy is, I'll tell you what he replied me. My birthday wish to him was, "Happy birthday! Finally 18 and there are a lot of things tt you can do now. But do control yourself too.........."
His reply was, "Yea, I'll control my hormones........."
It's like wth! I wasn't even referring to that in the first place!! Now you know what's in his mind all along!

Alright, I'm going off to get my work done now. Projects and tutorials are irritating. Poly life will be so so so much better without all these. Haha.

    Flying away~~~

    I'm not dead yet.

Yes, I'm still around, for the better or for the worse. It should be better right. Come on people, don't be so mean.

So many things are going on that I'm so lazy to blog. Ok, I admit, maybe I'm just plain lazy.
It was only the first week of school and there came a Communication Skills Project. It was still alright without the tutorials. We had lots of free time to ourselves. Free periods are always fun all thanks to the class. We play different characters.

Gabriel the Aircon. He sounds like a aircon humming in the background. Always blowing cold air out of his mouth and he thinks he's awesome. Up to you to decide.
Kelwin the China/Korean guy. He has the looks and he thinks he's Korean.
Meichin the Dobby. Her primary school ez-link card resembles that creature you see in 'Harry Potter'. Wanted to show you guys the picture but let's not be so mean. You can look for me personally if you wanna see it though.
Valerie the Alien aka Valien. She hates bird and loves dogs. Anyway, back to the point. She was named that after being spotted looking like one in a picture.
George the Maggie. Look at his hair and you'll know why. He's nice too. He provides a nest for me to stay in.
Stephanie the Bunny. Alright, I got it right this time. No longer the purple dinosaur. She looks like one, Bunny not dinosaur. You know, the one that hops around. Not the one that is extinct.
Amelia the Coffee. Her never-fail-to-drink coffee attitude makes me call her that.
Steffi the TaiTai. I don't have to say much.
Priscilia the BigBird. She resembles one and she happen to wear yellow on that day. She's my friend.
MingTing the Penguin. Valerie thinks she looks like one and she seems to like wearing the colours yellow, black & white. She's another of my friend too.

Last but not least, it's ME!

Yvonne the BirdBird. All becos Valerie thinks I look like a penguin and Meichin thinks I act like a bird. I can fly and George provides me a home.

So with all these people in class, it's never boring. Not to forget we have the other talkative & retarded ones who have yet to have a character. They never fail to make me laugh my ass off.
Watching High School Musical 3 was other fun event that took place during the first week of school and so was today's dinner at Bedok 85 followed by a game at the playground.
Imagine a bunch of 17s & 18s playing blind mice at the playground. It was hilarious. Shall show you the blind mice of the day!

Wanna make a guess who is the guy?

    Another one for you guys.

    AIRCON!

Yup, basically, this is the overview of what happened during the 2 weeks that I'm gone.

Oh, CYA is officially starting next week. So it adds on to my already crazy time-table. The earliest I reached home on Tuesdays will be 10pm? Gonna be damn shag. More projects are coming up and it's seriously crazy to find suitable project meeting time with my CDS mates. I don't wish to be back on weekends you know. Spare me that please. Unless there really isn't a choice.
Projects are irritating. I think I have 7 projects piling up now. School School. No wonder LiangHao says, 'I don't like school'. I agree totally.
